I have been commissioned by In Certain Places to develop a piece of temporary public artwork to be presented during Preston Guild celebrations in September 2012. I’ve been researching the Transit of Venus and am collaborating with Arkwright’s brewery on a Transit ale as well as organising the first Transit of Venus Real Ale Competition.

We are hosting a tasting event on the 27th April 2012, 6-8pm in The Real Ale Shop.

Throughout the evening you’ll be able to find out more about the project, get some tips from the brewers and take home a bottle or two of ale to sip during astronomical events.
